This project documents and describes a wide variety of religious sites in the greater Los Angeles area. Based on student interest and accessibility, each exhibit digitally documents current and historical aspects of religious sites, broadly defined, linking each site to wider traditions and practices. This project seeks to contextualize and document various symbols, architectural features, ritual objects, and historical events in order to provide wider understanding of the diverse and multiple dimensions of religious life in Los Angeles.

This project was undertaken by students in Professor Dru Gladney's course at Pomona College, Anthropology 150: The Anthropology of Religion, during the Spring 2017 semester.
