The Avatar and Architect of the New Enlightened Civilization

Paramahamsa Nithyananda is revered, regarded, respected and worshipped as the Avatar (living incarnation) of super-consciousness by millions across the globe. He is also the spiritual head of Mahanirvani Peetha, the oldest and largest apex body of Hinduism.

Nithyananda trained in yoga from an accomplished yoga master and siddha named Yogiraj Yogananda Puri, who introduced him to the fogotten mystic sciences of ancient India - levitation, teleportation and materialization, among others.

 

An Enlightened Being

While wandering as a spiritual mendicant throughout India, his whole life turned over to the bounty of Existence, the young mendicant covered thousands of kilometers on foot. A lifetime of intense meditation, study and austerities finally came to fruition on 1st January 2000, in an explosion of enlightenment which revealed to him his avataric misison on our planet.

 

A Healer

An extraordinary healer, Nithyananda has cured a range of life-threatening and chronic diseases, including cancer, paralysis, infertility, asthma and Alzheimer's, often with a single touch.

 

Founder of Dhyanapeetam

Wishing to share his spiritual understanding with others, and dedicate his life to the service of humanity, he decided to end his life as a recluse and enter into the public life. To this end, he has set up his spiritual organization Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam on 1st January 2003, with its headquarters in Bidadi near Bengaluru in India.

Offering his own body-mind system for observation, Nithyananda has been working with doctors and scientists across the world to record and analyze mystic phenomena using modern technology. The results continue to intrigue the world of medical science.

Nithyananda combines classical methods of teaching with modern ways of spreading the message, including the internet. He is currently one of the most watched gurus on the internet (YouTube), with over 15,000 hours of free talks. He is the most watched living guru online. Every day, thousands of devotees and disciples from 150 countries connect to him online and benefit from his teachings. Nithyananda is taking responsibility for Hinduism as Mahamandaleshwar, the spiritual head of Mahanirvani Akhada, the most ancient apex body of Hinduism. Already recognized as a powerfull crusader for Sanatana Hindu Dharma, Nithyananda brings to the role a new vigor, vitality and spiritual activism, while drawing strength from the Akhada's vast network and solid spiritual base.
